April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 The seventh grade was when she began playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons which ignited her love for writing songs. April's very first song was titled Different. It was written at 12 years of age. at the age of 14, April spent lots of time writing songs and honed her music skills. She began writing with her father on the streets of NY and LA just a few months later. April started to incorporate additional relevant subjects into the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and teenage suicide. Lockhart is a partner at popular clean beauty brand Ilia as well as a lifestyle blogger with an increasing following of her own. She was born without her left hand. It's one aspect of who she is, but that's not the entire story. Lockhart's profile on Instagram doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on the issue. The main message? The message? That we each contain multitudes, that our physical and mental identities are not all that they seem. We don't want to allow that to be the only thing that defines me. I don't want to become a person who is a disability-related influencer where that's all I talk about, because there are many other aspects to me Lockhart shares her thoughts via video from her house in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my day-to-day life I do every day as normal and have found the best way for me to adapt things. It's also part of me, so I believe that it's important to speak about. Lockhart who is an inspiration for self-acceptance in general, is on a long journey to achieve it. Lockhart admits to having gone through phases where she felt insecure about dressing in certain styles that displayed her arms. Today, she wears anything she's interested in. And she posts her photos on social media. This is a long journey. main thing I'm not certain that you ever arrive with self-love, she claims. This is true for everyone, no matter what their level of insecurity. The idea of having people close to you who truly understand you and can see your heart is really important since they'll be those whom you can count on to remind you about what your worries about?
