Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was able to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first few minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she was able to end her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus after both fighters fought a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
